MAC Eyeshadow in Haux

So since I have been on a MAC kick lately, I thought I would go a head and keep going with another post on a MAC shadow. This is in the shade Haux, which is one of the shades I got while I was at the Mall of America. If you have never been there, they have seriously 3 MAC's. Well, actually they have two counters, and one free standing store which is where I bought this shadow. Ever since I started building my own palette I have been trying to stick with the refills because they are cheaper, and since they had a actual MAC store, I was able to get refills instead of having to order them online. It was such a hard choice, but I controlled myself and only walked away with two shades.

Haux is a soft muted rosy brown with a satin finish. I have never owned a satin finish shadow by MAC so I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I seriously love this formula. It is super soft and filled with amazing pigmentation. The formula is very easy to blend as well. I love this color to use for the outer corner or even in the crease.

I really recommend you checking out this eyeshadow if you haven't already! It is truly beautiful.

MAC Soft Brown Eyeshadow

As my makeup collection grows, the more I want to try out different products from MAC. I have always been in love with MAC lipsticks, and I thought I might as well branch out to more MAC shadows. I only own a few, but the ones that I do own, I love. So I recently went out a little spree and picked up a few more shades to try out. And I have always heard amazing things about Soft Brown, so I knew I needed it in my collection.

Soft Brown is a beautiful golden peachy brown. I wanted this color mainly to use as a transition color. I thought it would be perfect for that. It also does a great job of defining your eyes. As I get older, I have been leaning more towards the matte shades, so this color is a new favorite. I also love how pigmented MAC shadows are.

Let me know what your favorite MAC shadows are so I can add them to my wish list!

New Wet N Wild Shimmer Palette in Hollywood Boulevard

Wet N Wild has done it again with another awesome new product. If you have been following my blog for a while now, you will see I tend to do a lot of Wet N Wild post. Well Wet N Wild recently came out with a ton of new products for 2015, which I have not been able to get my hands on about 90% of the products. But luckily when I was in Walmart I came a crossed this new highlighter.

Hollywood Boulevard is a beautiful golden cream highlight. The color is very pigmented and had a very buttery formula. It does have a lot of golden shimmery to it that really high lights the cheeks. One thing that I have always loved about the Wet N Wild Shimmer Palettes, is that amount of product you get. These palettes are huge and will last you a life time. They are also very affordable at only $4.99-$5.99 depending on where you purchase them from. I highly recommend this high lighter.

New NYX Prismatic Eye Shadows

Hi loves, today I have a new post on some of the new NYX Prismatic Eye Shadows. These are part of there new 2015 collection, and I found them at all. I am in love with a lot of NYX products, so when I found out they were releasing Prismatic shadows, I of course had to pick up a couple. And I hope you don't mind a ton of photos, because I did go a little crazy when I was taking photos!

These eyeshadows are filled with amazing pigmentation and they are also metallic. I love the texture and they are so beautiful all over the lid.

Girl Talk- is a very beautiful champaign color. I love using this one with a dark smokey eye, and adding this all over the lid.
Golden Peach- is a very beautiful salmon color. It has more of a pink gold color, verses a peach. This color is going to be perfect for the Spring and Summer time. I can't wait to do a eye look using this shade.
Liquid Gold- just like the name says, its a gold. I knew when I saw the display that this baby was coming home with me. It is one of the prettiest golds that I ever laid my eyes on.
Bedroom Eyes- is a beautiful dark brown.

I have never used such a pigmented eye shadow before. The pigmentation is just incredible. And these babies are only $6.00 each which is such an amazing deal!

I highly recommend these shadows.

MAC Lipstick in Oxblood

I am literally so happy I got the time to try out this lipstick. Everyone has been going crazy over this color and I believe it is now currently sold out everywhere online and in stores as well. And by a color like this, I am not surprised.

Oxblood is a very beautiful matte peach nude color. Right away I noticed how smooth the formula was and it was easy to apply to your lips. So even though its a matte shade, its not an over drying matte shade. You only need to apply one layer because the color is very opaque.

I love that MAC had used two different covers for the lipstick. First you have a sleeve, then you have the actual box. I know they used to do this awhile back, and I honestly love this added touch. I am in love with the design of the packaging as well as the amazing lipstick that is inside.

Were you able to pick this lovely lipstick up? If not what other items did you get from the Toledo collection?

MAC Toledo Collection Haul

Hey everyone, it has been such a long time since I have shared with you a haul from MAC. I usually post the hauls up on my channel, but before I would post YouTube videos, I would always blog about each MAC collection that I have purchased something from. So I wanted to start that up again, so today I will be sharing with you my picks from the new MAC Toledo collection.

Now I didn't want to get too crazy, so I only picked up 2 items from this collection, but I did buy a extra back up of the lipstick just in case!

The first item that really caught my eye were the ombre blushes. It was so hard for me to only choose one because I really wanted all three, but I thought Kindergarten Red would be the perfect shade for my light skin tone. It's a very beautiful light pink color which I thought would be good for everyday wear.

And the other item that really caught my eye was the Oxblood lipstick, which like I stated before, I had to pick up two. It seemed to be such a huge hit since I did sell out online within 30 minutes of the collection being released. It also sold out on other websites like Nordstroms and Macy's. This color is a matte peach nude. I haven't tried it on yet, so I am not sure how it will look on my pale skin.

Once I try out these products I will do a review for you guys so you can hear my thoughts. What did you guys get from this collection?

How To Beat The Winter With Nugg Face Masks

Hey loves, today I have a very exciting post on skin care. I am someone who suffers from really dry skin in the winter months. And sometimes if seems like no matter what you do, you can never keep your skin hydrated. Today I will be sharing some tips from Nugg to help maintain a beautiful complexion and to help put a cure to dry skin.

Nugg Hydrating Face Mask: This has to be one of my favorites. I love how much moisture it gives to my skin and it really helps with the dry patches that I have. After using the mask you can really tell a difference.

Nugg Deep Cleansing Face Mask: I love the smell of this mask. And its also very refreshing to the skin and works amazing to deep clean in your pores and just make everything seem so refreshed.

You honestly cannot beat the price of these masks. They are retail for $3.49 for one which I think is such an amazing deal. You can purchase right from the website http://www.nuggbeauty.com/ or even check out your local Target.

Here are some tips from Nugg, and this is the New Year Skin Care Resolutions, which I started following with the new year, and I have noticed such a change in my skin. So if you want to join as well, here are tips to maintain this resolution!

  1. Wear sunscreen every day. Try using a moisturizer that has SPF, that way you don’t have to add an extra step to your morning routine.
  2. Never sleep with your makeup on. Washing your face at night will prevent any dirt and impurities from seeping into your skin and causing breakouts. To ensure a thorough cleanse, use our Deep Cleansing mask. The Jojoba Lite Oil in this face mask dissolves sebum in a gentle, healthy way so that excess sebum can be rinsed off leaving you with hydrated, nourished skin.
  3. To lock-in extra moisture, apply your moisturizer when your skin is still slightly damp. For even more hydration, apply a thin layer of our hydrating mask as a sleep mask or below your foundation in the morning which also can serve as a beautifying primer.
  4. Clean your makeup brushes. Not only does old makeup start to build up on the bristles, but dust particles will stick to them as well. Be sure to wash your brushes at least once a week using any hair shampoo you have handy. You will notice quite the difference in makeup application and the clearness of your skin. Especially with sensitive skin, also make sure to use synthetic brushes (such as Tweezerman brush iQ).
  5. Drink no less than 8 glasses of water a day. Hydration is important on both the inside and out. Use our Hydrating mask twice a week to infuse moisture to the skin. The Spirulina Extract in this face mask provides a reservoir of water which it releases into the skin when needed.
Now it may be hard to follow all of these, but just take it one step at a time. To me drinking water has been a huge key. As well as cleaning my makeup brushes, because I usually get too lazy to clean them, but cleaning them removes all of the dead skin that could be in the brushes as well as all that extra makeup.
