NYX Avant Pop! Nouveau Chic Shadow Palette Swatches & Review

It has has seriously felt like forever since I have done a review on a eye shadow palette. Well, its actually been forever since I have actually bought one. But I have had this baby in my collection for almost a month now, and I totally forgot to review it. So I thought I would go a head and review it for you guys as well as post my swatches.

This is the NYX Avant Pop! palette in Nouveau Chic. This was one of the newer palettes that NYX released, and there is also two additional palettes that came out at the same time as this one. I found this one had the most neutral shades compared to the others because the other palettes had more vibrant colors.

I was a little nervous when swatching these because I always come into problems with some of the NYX shadow palettes. A lot of the times they are chalky and not pigmented, so I honestly was not hoping for the best, but as soon as I started swatching, I fell in love right away. Most of the shades were extremely pigmented and very easy to blend. I did notice a couple of them did lack some pigmentation though, so for the swatch I did have to go over a few swipes. You can see the light lilac shade didn't have as great pigmentation as well as the first shimmery light pink shade. But other then those two shades, the rest turned out great.

My favorite shade in the whole palette is the shade thats on the top row all the way to the right. Its a beautiful gun metal color and it just performed amazingly. Overall I was VERY impressed with this palette and it does make me want to go out and buy the other two palettes.

This palette can be purchased at www.ulta.com for $16.99, so it is a little bit on the pricey side, but for a drug store palette I really enjoyed it much better then the Maybelline palettes and the L'Oreal palettes. Also a lot of times NYX is buy one get one 50% at Ulta, so you may be able to get this for even cheaper!

Spongelle Buffer Products Review

Hey everyone, I have a very exciting review for you guys! I recently received a couple of products to try out from Spongelle, and lets just say I am in love! Spongelle has so many products to choose from, and I was able to receive the Body Wash Infused Buffer as well as the Pedi Buffer.

French Lavender Body Wash Infused Buffer- the body wash infused buffer is my favorite of the two. As soon as I got it in the mail I used it that night, and fell in love right away. The french lavender scent is very refreshing. And the sponge its self really helped scrub away the dead skin on my body and left my skin feeling very soft and refreshed. It lasts up to 14 uses and still smells amazing. I also loved that these are affordable. They only retail for $16.00, and I know I will be purchasing some more. It's also perfect for traveling because you can just bring the sponge and its almost packaged nicely, and already includes the body wash.

Beach Grass Pedi Buffer- the pedi buffer is a little bit smaller in size compared to the body wash buffer. It can be used up to 30 washes, and I also loved the scent of this one as well. When it comes to my skin, it is drier on my feet, so this buffer really helped smooth out my heels and also helped with the cracking. Its very gentle, and does not hurt when rubbing it on the feet. This product also retails for $16.00.

I highly recommend both of these products. You can purchase all of these at http://spongelle.com/

New Palladio Matte Duo Eyeshadow in 5th Avenue

|PR Sample|

Hey everyone, I have a very exciting post today on one of the new Palladio Matte Duo Eyeshadows. They recently released 10 shades that range from neutrals to brights. I was very excited to be able to try one of these duo's out because I am such a sucker for matte shadows.

These shadows state that they are long wearing and highly pigmented. They also state that you can where them sheer or you can layer them to make a more opaque look. These can also be used wet or dry. The shade I have to share with you guys is 5th Avenue

5th Avenue comes with a very light lilac color as well as a deep purple. When swatching these, I realized right away the formula was very buttery. I have never felt a shadow so soft before. I was worried that since the texture was buttery and soft that the shades would be chalky, but they were not. They were easy to apply and blend and the colors are very build-able. And I thought the shade combination in this duo was beautiful.

I am very impressed with the quality of these shadows. I am hoping to pick up a few more because I love the texture. You can now purchase these at www.ulta.com for $6.99, so they are also affordable.
