Maybelline Master Contour Palette in Light to Medium Review & Swatches

Hi everyone, I have another very exciting post on a new Maybelline product. If you are like me, you have probably been stocking the makeup section at multiple stores trying to find the new makeup products coming out for 2016. I have been going to each store every other day hoping to find new goodies, and I was finally able to find a couple of new things from Maybelline.

This is the Maybelline Master Contour Palette in light to medium. They also have another palette which is in the shade medium to deep. This contour palette comes with a bronzer, blush and highlighter. Each palette retails for $12.99 and are currently buy one get one 50% off at I was a little skeptical with purchasing this palette just for the fact that I haven't had a lot of good luck with passed palettes from Maybelline, so I wasn't expecting much.

The bronzer has more of a cool side to it and had pretty good pigmentation. I like that it was over powering with pigment because then I would be able to build up the product instead of having to use a light hand. The blush is a medium rosy pink with a cool tones. The blush is beautiful and its not super pigmented, but it is easy to build up. I also loved the texture of both the bronzer and blush. They were not stiff and did not have any fall out either. Now onto the highlighter... I am not a fan. It was pretty chalky and there was a lot of fall out. I also found the texture to be a little chunky. The color its self is a pretty champagne color, but it is just really hard to work with.

With that being said, I wish the palette was just a bronzer/blush duo because I will not be getting my use out of the highlighter. I will still be using the palette, but just for the bronzer and blush. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried either palette yet and what you think!

I love the color combinations in this palette. It comes with really pretty neutral shades as well as colorful shades. You can create tons of different looks with this palette. I love the more matte-satin shades in this palette. I felt like the metallic shades performed nicely and had great pigmentation. I noticed some of the shades with the micro glitter were not as pigmented and there was a little fall out with the micro glitter as well.

I think this is a great palette overall. You can create so many different looks with this palette. It is very versatile so I think a lot of people would truly enjoy it. And with the incredible quality of the shadows I would highly recommend this palette.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor's in Seduction and Addiction #BlogmasDay6

Hi everyone, welcome back to Blogmas day 6! I know I missed a couple of days which I am so so sorry about, but I am back with Blogmas day 6 and its on the new Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor's. I had purchased these when they were first released and I have been really enjoying them.

The two shades I picked up were Seduction which is a peachy nude and Addiction which is a very beautiful cranberry color. I actually love the formula of these. I wouldn't really consider them to be very matte though. They apply like a lip gloss and when they dry it almost has a satin formula. They are not drying on the lips which I love and the color actually lasts for a long time.

Seduction is more opaque compared to Addiction. You really need to add a couple of swipes a crossed your lips with Addiction in order to have your lips completely covered. Also they do have a strong smell, but to me I actually enjoy the smell. But if smells bother you, you might not like these.

I have been wearing Seduction almost everyday now and I really want to go out and purchase more. I purchased mine from Target for $6.99 each. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried these yet! I really want to go out and get a couple more shades. I believe there is 6 altogether.

Urban Decay Blush in Video #BlogmasDay3

Hi everyone, welcome to day three of Blogmas. I have a very exciting post on the Urban Decay Blush in Video. I was so excited when Urban Decay had released their new blush line, but it took me forever to finally go out and buy one. I have had my eye set on Video for the longest time, so I finally purchased it. Whenever I go out and purchase a new blush I always check to see if they have a everyday blush shade and when I saw Video I knew it would be perfect for everyday wear.

Video is considered a soft nude, which when swatched, it looks exactly how its described. With the Urban Decay blushes they state that they last up to 8 hours. I did wear this blush twice now, and I would say it stayed on for about 4 to 5 hours. Also with the texture of the blush it is very finely-milled and it had such a great buttery texture. I noticed with this blush the color wasn't as opaque, so with my fair skin I had to pack on a couple of layers for the color to show.

Overall I love that this color is something I can wear all the time. It just gives a nice natural look to my cheeks. These blushes do retail for $26.00 and can be found at Since I like Video so much I now have my eyes on Fetish which is a pretty medium pink shade.

MAKE UP FOR EVER 15 Artist Eyeshadow Palette Swatches #BlogmasDay2

Hi loves, welcome to day two of Blogmas! Today I have a very exciting review on the new MAKE UP FOR EVER 15 Artist Eyeshadow Palette. I was lucky enough to review this palette to review and I can't wait to share my thoughts on it. I originally did a first impressions video on my YouTube channel, which has been up for a few weeks now, but I have been using the palette for a while now so I can finally give my thoughts on it.

Just like the name says, this palette comes with 15 different eyeshadows and can be purchased at for $59.00. Now the shadows themselves do not have a specific name. They are identified by number and by the finish, which is how their regular single eyeshadows are divided up as well.

Starting from the top row going left to right we have I-550 (Iridescent), I-524 (Iridescent), I-916 (Iridescent), D-236 (Diamond) and S-102 (Satin)

Starting from the middle row going left right we have S-522 (Satin), D-826 (Diamond), D-830 (Diamond), S-228 (Satin) and S-114 (Satin)

Lastly the bottom row going left to right we have I-528 (Iridescent), I-662 (Iridescent), ME-216 (Metallic) and ME-122 (Metallic)

Out of all of the shades, I found them all to be extremely pigmented. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first starting using them since I never tried any MAKE UP FOR EVER eyeshadows before, but I am very impressed. I like that this palette has a mixture of different textures, however, I kind of wished it came with a couple of Matte shades.

You can create so many different looks with this palette. It actually comes with a booklet that helps you create different looks using the shadows. Overall I am so happy I had the opportunity to review this palette, and I will be buying single shadows in the future from MAKE UP FOR EVER. Let me know in the comments below what your favorite shadow is from MAKE UP FOR EVER so I can add it to my wish list!

Lancome Blushes in Rose Paradise and Midnight Rose #BlogmasDay1

Hey everyone, it is officially December 1st, which means it is getting closer to Christmas. I am literally so so excited because Christmas is my favorite holiday! And I thought why not give Blogmas a try!  So I am going to try and do a blog post each day all the way up until December 25th. So starting off with the first blog of December, I wanted to share a review and swatches of a couple of blushes from Lancome.

These are the Lancome Blush Subtil Delicate Oil Free Blushes that can be found at and retail for $31.00 each. The two shades I have are Rose Paradise and Midnight Rose.

Rose Paradise is a beautiful bright pink shade. If you look at the swatch on Sephora's website, the color they show doesn't match the actually shade in the pan at all. This shade is more of a cool tone pink.

Midnight Rose is a very beautiful mid tone pink with a hint of magenta.

Both of these shades are very pigmented and a little product goes a long way.  They also have a great silky texture which makes it easy for blending. And they also look very natural on the cheeks. I think out of the two Midnight Rose is my favorite because it isn't as intense as Rose Paradise, and I feel like with my lighter skin it would be easier to pull off. Plus it is a perfect shade for the winter.

I really enjoy these blushes and I really want to pick up some more of their more natural shades like Sheer Amourose. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried these blushes yet and how you feel about them!

The links in this post are affiliated and these blushes were sent to me for review purposes.
