How To Receive Free Beauty Products To Review

Hi loves, today I wanted to do a little fun post to help out other bloggers, YouTuber's and people that love posting on social media. I wanted to share with you some ways of getting free beauty products sent to you to review. I have been blogging for a few years now and also been a huge fan of Instagram. I have multiple different websites you can join, where you can work with some amazing companies, so lets get started!

The first site is FameBit. I have been using FameBit for a while now and this one is perfect for almost any social media account. You can connect your Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Tumble and Facebook page. Which is perfect if you are not a YouTuber. I use FameBit a lot for Instagram since I am not really popping on YouTube. With FameBit you can request to try out different products and you can get paid to post photos/reviews/videos on your social media. This was the first website I have ever tried and so far I have worked with 10 different companies, and some I still work with. Not only can you work with brands, you can also collab with out influencers. If you would like to sign up for FameBit you can do so here www.famebit.com.

The next website is Octoly which is one that I recently joined, and so far I have been able to receive 4 products to review. Unlike Famebit, you do not get paid to post reviews/photos/videos, but you do get products sent to you from popular brands like ColourPop, Palladio Beauty, Kate Somerville, Clarins and more! So far this is one of my favorite sites to use and I highly recommend checking it out. You can signup for Octoly here: www.octoly.com.

Another website that I love using is Influenster. Which this is a great one if you are not too big into posting a lot. Anyone can join Influenster and you can receive basically any type of products. I have even gotten food sent to me before to review! I have been using this site for years and I love it. They even have higher end beauty brands now like Bite Beauty and Marc Jacobs. If you would like to sign up for Influenster you can do so here: https://www.influenster.com/.

These are just the main sites that I use. I also know of a couple more if you would like me to do a part two to this post. I just wanted to share something helpful for everyone here on social media since I feel like a lot of people like to hide things and not help others out, but I wanted to be someone that could help. And if you ever need help with anything when it comes to start a blog/YouTube channel or anything like that, just comment below or you can always email me at weloveswatches@yahoo.com. I would love to help out and give you more tips and tricks! I hope you guys found this post helpful!

The Body Shop Down To Earth Eyeshadow Quad's Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

Hi loves, welcome back to my blog! I am seriously so excited to share with you these eyeshadow quads by The Body Shop. They are called the Down To Earth quad's. I never tried any makeup before by The Body Shop so I was super excited to see that they sent me some of their quad's to review! They currently have 5 different quad's you can choose from, and today I will be sharing with you three of them.

Down To Earth Quad in Black- this palette features 4 neutral shades which were inspired by nature. The first shade in the quad is Scandinavian Steel which is a beautiful silver. I seriously love this shade for all over the lid. Next is California Lapis which is a beautiful deep shimmery blue. Next is Australia Quartz which is a beautiful deep black with silver shimmer and lastly is Black Canon Onyx which is a matte black. I really enjoy this palette and love how pigmented all the shades were. The black was a little chalky, but it blends on super easy.

Down To Earth Quad in Plum- this palette is my favorite of the three. The shades are stunning and perfect for everyday looks. The first shade in the palette is Attica Marble which is a matte cream shade. In the swatch, it was hard to show the color since it almost matches my skin tone. But it is a great highlight color for the brow bone and inner corner. Next is Petra Sandstone which is a beautiful shimmery taupe. Next is Penrhyn Slate which is a pretty purple taupe shade with shimmer. And lastly is Bengal Granite which is a deep plum brown shade.

Down To Earth Quad in Brown- this palette is my second favorite because of course it has pretty brown shades. The first shade in the palette is Oregon Sunstone which is a beautiful peach color. Next is Peru Clay which is a beautiful taupe brown shade which is a perfect transition color.  Next is Sienna Dust which is my favorite shade in the quad. Is a beautiful cool toned brown with shimmer. Lastly is Idaho Jasper which is a pretty rich brown.

I found all of the shades super pigmented and all had such a nice buttery texture. A cool thing about these quads is that you can remove each shadow and create your own quad. And all of the shadows can be used wet or dry. I am seriously in love and will need to go out and purchase the other two quads that they have.

Each quad retails for $24.00 and can be purchased at www.thebodyshop-usa.com.

NEW Revlon Colorstay Creme Eyeshadows in Black Current and Caramel

Hey loves, it seriously has been forever since I posted a new blog post and I am so so sorry. Things have just been crazy lately. If you follow me on Instagram you would know I am expecting my first bundle of joy and I am super excited. And lets just say morning sickness was getting the best of me. Luckily I am now in my second trimester and have been feeling a lot better so I wanted to get back on my blog game. And I am so excited to share with you these new cream shadows I found at Walmart. These are the new Revlon Colorstay Creme Eyeshadows. Revlon has tons of new goodies as Walmart and I have a slight obsession with cream shadows. I picked up two shades for now to try out and I figured if I liked them I could always purchase more. They have 12 different shades to choose from! But the ones I picked out first were Black Current and Caramel, which I thought would be perfect for upcoming holiday looks.

The packaging of these remind me of the Maybelline Color Tattoo's. But these actually have a little brush on the cap that you can use to apply the product. I like using my fingers with these because I didn't feel like the brush really picked up too much product, and found it was just easier to use my finger.

Black Current is a very beautiful shimmery purple. For some reason I just love wearing purples in the winter and find this one to be perfect to wear all over the lid without needing to add other shades. Caramel is a beautiful gold shade which gold is a staple to have for holiday looks.

I thought the texture of these were very hydrating. Usually with the Maybelline Color Tattoo's, they feel a little more dry but with these they are very smooth and easy to blend. They also have amazing color pay off and last for hours on the lids. I also love all the shimmery in both of these shades. I believe these retail for around $7.00-$9.00 at Walmart and should be coming soon to other stores! Let me know in the comments below if you were able to get your hands on these yet, and if so, which is your favorite shade!

Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick Swatches & Review

Hi loves, I am so excited about today's blog post. It is on the Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipsticks. Makeup Revolution recently sent me some goodies to try out and I was so excited they included the Rose Gold Lipsticks. The packaging is stunning. It is of course Rose Gold and I also love that it shows the lipstick color on the bottom of the tube which makes it easier to grab the shade you want. This collection has 5 different shades and I have 4 to share with you today.

According to Makeup Revolution these lipsticks have super-intensive coverage and comfortable to wear. Some of the shades performed better then the others. The shades I have are:
  • Girls Best Friend which is a beautiful hot pink shade with cool undertones. This one performed the best out of all of the shades I have. It was very opaque and I did not need to build up the color.
  • Chauffeur which is a brown nude. I had to swipe on this color a few times to get decent color pay off.
  • Diamond Life which is a really pretty berry color. Just like Chauffeur I really had to pack on the color, and you can see in the swatch that it was patchy as well.
  • Red Carpet which is a beautiful cool toned red. This one was one of my favorites. Just like Girls Best Friend, it was very pigmented.
I think for drugstore lipsticks, these are great for the price. And the packaging alone is just incredible. I will be keeping these babies on display on my vanity because they are so pretty. Each lipstick retails for $5.00 and can be bought at www.ulta.com. Let me know in the comments below what your favorite shade is!

New MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Palette Volume 4 Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

Hi loves, I am so excited to share with you my review on the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Palette Volume 4. I have always been a huge fan of the Artist Palettes by MAKE UP FOR EVER, but this one is much different compared to the others. This palette features 9 matte shades. As a matte lover, I was thrilled to see all mattes. This palette has amazing fall shades. I love that it includes dark shades as well as light shades that are perfect for highlighting the brow bone and inner corner. I also love that it includes some great transition shades. You can create endless amount of looks with this palette.

Onto the shades that are in this palette:
  • M-100 which is a Black. This shadow was extremely dry and hard to blend out. It has amazing color pay off once you build it up, but it had a very dry formula.
  • M-842 which is Wine. I think this shade is perfect for fall and wasn't as dry as the black shade.
  • M-240 is Prussian Blue. I love that this has a green tint to it. It is absolutely stunning and one of my favorite shades in the palette. It blended out so nicely and was not dry at all.
  • M-620 which is Grey Brown. This shade had a very smooth texture to it and was also very pigmented.
  • M-806 which is Antique Pink. There really isn't much to say about this shade. It is very pretty and is pigmented as well.
  • M-536 which is Milk Tea. This shade will be a favorite to use as a transition color. It is such a beautiful shade and another one of my favorites in this palette.
  • M-126 is Chalk. This shade was very dry as well. It is super chalky and I was not impressed with this shade. It will still work to highlight the brow bone, but it will take a lot to pack it on to get good color pay off.
  • M-546 is Dark Purple Taupe. I am in love with this shade as well. It is another good transition color and will look beautiful in the crease and the lid.
  • M-530 is Eggshell. The formula was much buttery compared to the Chalk shade but did not have much color pay off as well.
Some of the shades were hit and misses. And usually MAKE UP FOR EVER shadows are amazing, but a few of these shades were very dry and hard to blend. I still loved most of the shades and will be using it for the fall.

You can purchase this palette at www.sephora.com for $44.00 and each shadow contains .04oz of product. Let me know in the comments below if you will be picking up this palette!
