New Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo Crayons in Bronze Truffle and Barely Beige

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today is a very exciting day (kind of lol), it is my 22nd birthday! Plus I have an amazing new product from Maybelline to share with you all as well. I was so excited to find out that Maybelline was coming out with 24 Hour Color Tattoo Crayons! I have been a huge fan of the color tattoos that come in the little pots, so I knew I had to try these! I only picked up two shades to try out so far because I wasn't sure if I was going to like the formula of these, but after using them for a week now, I am in love! And of course I need to go out and get more!

These new crayons come in 10 different shades. And I purchased the shades:

  • Bronze Truffle which is a beautiful taupe/bronze shade. I loved the pigmentation on this one. I only had to swipe it once to get a beautiful color payoff. I also found this one really easy to blend.
  • Barely Beige which of course is a beautiful beige with a yellow undertone. I purchased this one because I thought it would be perfect to highlight my brow bone or to brighten up my eyes by applying it to the inner corner. This shade was also very pigmented and easy to blend.
Compared to these color tattoos that come in the pot, I found these not to be as dry. I love that it is in a crayon form, because it can be hard sometimes to dip your finger into a pot. So this makes applying the product a lot easier. I love wearing these on their own, or I also like to use them as a base.

You can currently purchase these at www.Target.com for $5.99 each.

Proganix Soy Protein Volume Collection

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

Hi loves, today I have yet another exciting post on some new hair care by Proganix. I know I start almost every blog post with "exciting post" but sometimes I find some of these products really exciting. And this is one of those times. Proganix recently came out with a new line which is the Soy Protein Volume line, and the products are meant to amplify and give body to your hair. They came out with a shampoo, conditioner, amplifying gel and root boost finish. My hair is so thin and flat, so I was very excited to give this line a try.

Soy Protein (+ Caffeine) Volume Amplifying + Body Builder Shampoo & Conditioner- with this shampoo and conditioner its supposed to give body to your hair, as well as give your hair some shine. The added shine comes from the energizing caffeine. First you would of course want to shampoo your hair, and then you would want to add the conditioner and leave it in for about 3-5 minutes before you rinse it out. I noticed a difference in my hair within a couple of washes. Plus they smell amazing as well. Both the shampoo and conditioner retail for $9.99 and can currently be found at www.walgreens.com

Soy Protein (+ Caffeine) Volume Amplify Gel- with this product it also has the soy protein and caffeine just like the shampoo and conditioner. This product you would add to damp hair and you only use about a dime size amount. You can either let your hair air dry or you could blow dry it as well which could add some extra volume. I noticed the gel to be a little sticky, so I normally do not use this type of product in my hair. I think it would work better if you had more thicker hair. This product retails for $10.99 and can currently be found at www.walgreens.com

Soy Protein (+ Caffeine) Volume Root Boost Finish + Body Builder- just like the rest of the collection, this product contains the soy protein and caffeine. With this product you apply it onto clean damp hair and you would concentrate it on the roots. It can also be used on dry hair as well. Besides the shampoo and conditioner, I thought this product was one of my favorites. It did an amazing job with adding a little more body to my roots, which is where I needed it the most. This product retails for $10.99 and can currently be found at www.walgreens.com

I highly recommend the shampoo, conditioner and root boost. The gel on the other hand I would not recommend it unless you had pretty thick hair. It didn't look good in my thin hair and just made my hair feel really dirty and had a weird texture. Let me know if you have tried these before and what you think of them!

They came out with a new ultra hydrating creme cleanser, ultra hydrating facial mask and a ultra hydrating facial souffle moisturizer! How exciting right? These products came out at the right time. Where I live the temperatures are always the coldest in January, and on top of it, my skin gets extremely dry and cracks a lot. So I love that all of these products in the Yes To Coconut's line are all meant for hydrating!

Ultra Hydrating Creme Cleanser- this product is made up of virgin coconut and chia seed oils which helps get the best moisture for a decadent cleanse. This product is also paraben-free and 96% natural ingredients. With the chia seed oil and virgin coconut oil it helps smooth out dry and cracked skin. Which is a huge plus for me during this time of the year. It also is non-greasy! This product retails for $9.99 and can be found at www.Target.com.

Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask- this product is made up of virgin coconut and avocado oils which is to help treat super dry skin. This product is also paraben-free and has 96% natural ingredients. This product is also non greasy. With this mask you apply over cleansed skin and let dry for 5-10 minutes. Then you would gently remove with a warm damp cloth. Which this product is heavenly. It works wonders for my dry skin. This product retails for $14.99 and can be found at www.Target.com.

Ultra Hydrating Facial Souffle Moisturizer- this product is made up of virgin coconut oil and shea butter. Just like the rest of the line, it is paraben-free and has 96% natural ingredients. The shea butter helps to create that super hydrating feeling to the skin. You would apply this after cleansing to help hydrate the face even more. I am seriously in love with this product. It retails for $14.99 and can be found currently at www.yestocarrots.com.

If you love coconuts and are in need of some moisture in your skin I would highly recommend these new products. They work wonders and I have noticed a major difference in my skin since I started using them. Plus, I am in love with the smell of coconut so thats a huge plus as well!

Wet N Wild Blushes in Pearlescent Pink and Rose Champagne

Hi loves, today I have another exciting post on the "new" Wet N Wild Blushes. Wet N Wild recently repackaged their old blushes and they brought back a couple of their permanent shades and also brought out a new color as well.  I have been on the hunt for them forever now, and I finally found a couple from Walgreens. Surprisingly I never owned any Wet N Wild blushes in the past, but I knew with the new packaging I had wanted to pick a couple up. I am in love with all the new products for 2016 by Wet N Wild.

Pearlescent Pink is a beautiful medium pink with a little of a coral undertone. The pigmentation on this blush was incredible. A little product goes a long way so when applying this blush you may want to use a light hand. Rose Champagne is a beautiful nude pink, which of course is a color that I am in love with when it comes to blushes. This one was pigmented too, but it applied a little patchy. I thought the formula for the blushes were a little dry. They didn't have a buttery texture, so it is a little harder to blend out the product on your cheeks. But overall for the price you cannot beat it.

These blushes do retail for $2.99 and right now I have only spotted the new packaging at Walgreens. But with time these will be popping up at Target, Walmart, CVS etc. I am all for affordable products so I was really impressed with the colors and pigmentation.

Pur Cosmetics Browder Perfecting Brow Powder Review & Swatches

PR Sample|Affiliated Link

Hi loves, welcome back to my blog. Today I have a post on a new brow product by Pur Cosmetics. This is the Browder Perfecting Brow Powder. This product is something extremely different compared to any other brow product I have tried. I was so excited when they sent me these to review and I am so excited to be sharing my thoughts on them for you!

The Browder Perfecting Brow Powder is a long lasting brow powder and the long bent applicator makes it easy to apply the product. It comes in three different shades Blonde, Medium Brown and Brunette. Each product does cost $22.00 each and it is currently available on www.ulta.com. It has a fiber formula which helps fill in your eyebrows. According to Pur Cosmetics you could also use this product as a eyeliner as well.

Since my eyebrows are dark I used the shade Brunette which on my brows it gave off more of a reddish undertone so it did not match my eyebrows. Also I noticed while applying the product that there was a lot of fall out and the powder tended to get everywhere. So if you were doing your makeup, I would recommend doing your brows first so you do not have to experience the fall out on your newly done face makeup. I thought the product its self was really nice and it blended really easy into my brows. I also found the applicator to be extremely easy to use. When I was doing using the product on my eyebrows I did go in with a brush to comb out the product.

Overall I like the product but I really wish there was more of a color selection. It is going to be extremely difficult for someone to find a shade that will work with them. Also the fall out can be extremely stressful as well. I will probably try and continue to use it. I might try and use Medium Brown and maybe go in with a darker eyeshadow to try and make it match my brows. Let me know if you have tried this product yet and what you think of it!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Monos Eyeshadows in Cafe Au Lait and Pain Au Chocolat

L'Oreal Colour Riche Monos Eyeshadows|Affiliated Link

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog. I am so so sorry that I have not posted a review in what seems like forever. I have been very active on YouTube though, and I do plan on remaining very active on my blog for 2016 as well. I have a ton of new products to share with you from the drug store, since a lot of brands released their new 2016 products. So for today's post I will be talking about some of the new L'Oreal Colour Riche Monos Eyeshadows.

I was so excited when I found out L'Oreal was releasing new single eyeshadows. They released 15 shades and they are all mainly neutral tones. Also, they released different finishes as well. So for this post I will be sharing a matte shade as well as a shimmery shade. According to L'Oreal these are a gel to powder consistency and they are supposed to have a velvety texture.

The shades I got were:

  • Cafe Au Lait which is a cool matte toned light brown
  • Pain Au Chocolat which is a beautiful shimmery taupe

I noticed right away when I was swatching these colors that the formula is incredible. It does have like a gel consistency when you touch it but it turns into a powder when you swatch it. I also found the texture to be very buttery and unlike any shadows I have tried before. The shades that I chose were also very pigmented and easy to blend. I think L'Oreal really hit their mark when it came to these shadows because the quality is amazing and they are also very affordable.

Also the price point on these are incredible. Each shade retails for $5.99 at both Ulta and Walgreens. And the best part is that a lot of the times both places have buy one get one 50% L'Oreal products. So if you can grab them on sale you can get them for even cheaper. This is seriously the first time I have LOVED a drug store single eyeshadow and I highly recommend you checking them out!
